Our Coaches

Coaching is a unique process of human development, one that works to change a person's life for the better.

Charlie Lima

In April of 2003 I began training my first client, Kathy Koppers. I was attending Texas A&M and working in a personal training studio. I graduated from A&M in 2005 and in 2008 I was invited by a friend to attend the CrossFit L1 seminar and it changed my entire outlook on fitness. I moved out of the gym I was training at in August 2008 and affiliated my new box with CrossFit right away.I am very grateful for the growth and more grateful for the community we have today at CSCF.

Ken Jackson

I grew up in small-town North Tx, and quickly moved to Aggieland to pursue my Wildlife Science degree from TAMU. Even better than that, I met my wife Michelle in the process. We’ve been married for 14 years and have two daughters, McKenna and Hannah. I have a full time pest control job (Venus Pest) and obtained my Level-1 crossfit coaching certificate in 2012. Other than Crossfit, my two favorite things to do are play golf and go to the Texas coast to wade fish in the bays.

Blake Anderson

I have been doing CrossFit for over two years now and it has changed my life dramatically! I believe that CrossFit is for everyone, despite what current level of fitness people might have. I’m excited to encourage everyone to reach the goals that they have set and help them become better people.

Liz Kilpatrick

I have always been an active athlete including 10 years of competitive gymnastics, soccer, basketball, and polo. About 3 years ago I completed my first WOD, and within 6 months I started competing and finished my Level 1 Crossfit certification. I have spent time coaching at a gyms in New Zealand and Virginia. I love pushing people to do things they never thought they could do!

Trent Volentine

I love the competitive nature, the community, the atmosphere, everything CrossFit offers. After about a year of doing CrossFit, I decided to get my Level One Certification to help others pursue their fitness goals. It amazes me that no matter the fitness level of a person they can always enjoy going to the gym, working hard together, and enjoy the camaraderie that CrossFit has to offer.

Joshua Godinez

I started CrossFit at fourteen years old and became infatuated with the movements and the methodology. Since that time in 2011, I’ve had the pleasure of being able to coach at three different affiliates and am currently certified as a Level 2 CrossFit Trainer. I love seeing people set and achieve goals, seeing people flourish within a communal environment, and seeing how CrossFit can extend to better people’s lives in AND outside the gym.

Chris Raia

Chris started CrossFit in 2010 and immediately fell in love with the competitive workout regimen and culture. In 2014, he and his family moved to College Station, and he then began doing Crossfit competitively at the age of 38. In 2015 he received his Level 1 certification and started coaching at CSCF shortly thereafter. Chris has competed in the Crossfit Games Masters Qualifier in 2016 and 2017 and is working to compete in the Crossfit Games as a master sometime In the future. Chris resides in College Station with his wife, Kristen, and his three children, Payton, Parker and Presley.

Jordan Whitehead

I have always been passionate about sport, competition, and fitness. I played collegiate soccer at Rice University, and after finishing I had trouble finding a fitness program. After 3 years of trying different forms of fitness, my first CrossFit WOD in 2014 hooked me. The community and competition aspect reminded me of being on a team. Since then, I have obtained my Level 1 CrossFit certification along with the CSCS and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certifications. I am excited to coach and encourage individuals to pursue active, healthy lives through fitness and nutrition!

Luke Ketelaar

I started my CrossFit journey about four years ago in my hometown of Davenport, Iowa, after graduating from high school. I missed the competitive nature of team sports, and crossfit seemed like a great way to keep pushing myself to be physically fit in a team-like environment. When I came to College Station CrossFit I found something even better than what I had expected; it was more like a family! Since starting crossfit, I have found a particular passion for strength training. My priorities in life are God, family, friends and fitness.

Selina Stasi

CrossFit allows me to connect my fitness passion and experience as an inline speed skater, with my commitment to service and health advocacy throughout my studies and pursuit of a Doctorate in Public Health. I have coached fitness for the past 8 years in CA, FL, HI, and Texas. I currently hold both a CrossFit Level 2 and a Gymnastics Trainer Certificate. I love and am inspired to coach at CSCF, because it gives me the ability to lead others in health transformation, and it provides a constant challenge to become a better version of myself.
